DIVERSITY, EQUITY, ACCESSIBILITY, INCLUSION
The Venice Heritage Foundation (VHF) is dedicated to preserving, showcasing, and nurturing Venice's diverse cultural heritage and history. The Venice Heritage Museum, a project of VHF, serves as a tangible embodiment of this mission.
We actively and intentionally make decisions for programming to make the Museum a welcoming space of exchange, valuing participation across the experiences of people that define the Venice district as we share in building awareness of the historical and social forces that have shaped our community by the sea.
The Museum is actionably committed to acknowledging and uplifting Venice's inherent diversity, across all identities and differences—including those based on race, ethnicity, age, physical ability, sexual orientation, gender identity, citizenship status, socioeconomic status, education, and religion—as we support and empower those around us and encourage deeper awareness for meaningful relationships in our local and other sociogeographic communities.
We commit to learning from and responding to our surrounding community and the many voices and perspectives that form it. VHF recognizes our responsibility for the Museum to provide access to all.

We acknowledge that the Venice Heritage Museum is on the traditional land of the Tongva/Kizh people and that our Southern California region is home to many other tribes.
